Who do you treat?

I provide counseling and therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I work with adults and teens/adolescents (ages 14-19).

When are appointments available?

Appointments are available Monday through Friday, including some evenings. Please contact me at 858-635-4782 to schedule an appointment. Please leave a message if I do not answer the phone right away. I will get back to you within one business day.  You can also request a callback through the online form any time of the night or day.

Where are you located?

My office is located in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego, on the campus of Alliant International University.  Please click here for maps and directions to my office.

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not currently accept insurance.  I will provide you with an invoice statement which you may provide to your insurer for reimbursement.

What are your fees?

The fees for service a based on a sliding scale. Please see the fees page for the current range.

Do you prescribe medications?

No, I do not prescribe medications. If you or your family member needs medication, I will help you contact a psychiatrist, physician or mental health center.

What is your philosophy of treatment?

I approach my work from a strengths-based perspective. That means I focus on helping people build on their strengths.

Do you work with families?

Yes, I am happy to work with families. Family involvement in treatment when one member has a diagnosed mental illness can be very helpful to the individual as well as the family as a whole.

What kinds of conditions do you treat?

I provide psychological treatment to people dealing with disorders that tend to create disruptions in living, such as:

  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Depression
  • Schizophrenia
  • Psychosis
